Vinyl Jacket

We were tasked with designing a jacket and inner sleeve for a vinyl record of our choice for our Illustration course. I chose to redesign PUP’s The Dream Is Over using Adobe Illustrator. I created a post-concert scene: crushed cans, bottles and confetti lining a concert venue floor. I got the idea from the album title itself, as I imagined “the dream is over” being someone’s sentiment after a concert they were really looking forward to is over. Venues post-concert are always littered with garbage, hence the illustrations.
