Stamps

We were asked to design a set of four themed stamps using Adobe Illustrator for our Illustration course. I decided to design stamps with the Canadian wildlife that is featured on our currency, with each animal’s habitat as their stamp’s background. Using my Wacom tablet, I drew the details on the animals and the backgrounds with Illustrator’s chalk, charcoal and pencil brush packs. I decided to draw the animals in black and white so that there would be more contrast with the background, making the artwork a lot more eye catching.
