Dust Jacket

Another project we were tasked with in Publication Design was creating a dust jacket for the book of our choice. Using Adobe Illustrator and inDesign, I created a dust jacket for Stephen King’s novel Misery. I wanted to keep a similar style to many of King’s other book covers, in which his name is featured in a large, bold serif with the “S” and “N” made larger. I wanted to showcase the book’s setting-a lone cabin in the woods during the dead of winter-to emphasize the isolation the protagonist is subjected to.
